I'm Chase Gravengood. I spent over a decade in commercial real estate, managing portfolios, building teams, and expanding markets. I worked inside a publicly traded REIT and cut my teeth at a disciplined private shop, and I learned along the way that relationships are everything.

For years I built the budgets and went line by line through operating expenses across a portfolio worth close to a billion dollars. The best teams plan and forecast so surprises stay minimal; that's the discipline I bring. It taught me how a business actually spends, from the smallest recurring line item to the number that lands on the bottom line.

And it isn't limited to any one industry. Whether it's the recurring costs a company stops questioning, its technology spend, or what it pays to take care of its people, the work is the same: understand the detail, see the big picture, and find what's quietly slipping out.

I later spent a few years living and working abroad. What stayed with me was a simple truth: the right people are hard to find, and when you connect with them, it can change a business's trajectory. Stepping away also made one thing obvious: I'm at my best when I'm using what I know to help a business or a person get somewhere. So that's what I do now.
